Aisha Spence lends her analytical expertise to the Brook Partners advisory group, where she serves as a vice president. Providing support for national portfolios of real estate assets, she performs various financial analyses, including sensitivity and what-if analyses, and reviews partnership agreements, loan agreements and other legal documentation related to the assets. In addition, she manages the aggregation of property documents, data and information, and performs various other ad hoc or special projects associated with the portfolios.

Most recently, Ms. Spence was a financial analyst at Cape Advisors, a boutique real estate developer based in New York and New Jersey. While at Cape Advisors, Ms. Spence provided capital raising, underwriting and transactional assistance on a number of hotel projects, including the Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ, Congress Hall Hotel and the Beach Shack in Cape May, NJ. Ms. Spence also served as the investor relations analyst at Cape Advisors, in which capacity she created and maintained the firm’s Investor Relations database and was responsible for communicating with investors regarding the status of projects, their investments and capital calls.

Prior to that, Ms. Spence was an associate at Citigroup in the Public Finance Department, where her primary responsibilities included evaluating financing opportunities and structuring debt for healthcare systems, transportation systems and other municipal issuers.

Ms. Spence earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from Emory University and her master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance, Strategy & Operations from NYU Stern School of Business.
